For skincare, there are specific ingredients that should be avoided such as retinols/Retin-A, Hydroquinone, Alpha Hydroxy acids, and Beta Hydroxy acids just to name a few. In most cases, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, niacinamide, topical sulfur, etc. are considered safe.
