Added Support for Elevated Results
Breast augmentation with lift reshapes and repositions the breasts, and some patients benefit from additional support to maintain that lifted result. An internal bra, using absorbable mesh like DuraSorb or GalaFLEX, can act as a scaffold inside the breast to reduce the risk of bottoming out or tissue stretching over time.

DuraSorb offers a temporary internal support system. Its monofilament design is absorbable over a shorter period, making it an excellent option for patients who need brief reinforcement while their tissue heals and strengthens. While FDA-approved for soft tissue support, use in the breast is considered off-label.

GalaFLEX is engineered for a more gradual absorption timeline and is better suited for patients who may need prolonged support due to tissue laxity or previous surgery. It provides a firm yet flexible internal matrix that works with your body’s natural healing. As with DuraSorb, GalaFLEX’s use in the breast is off-label.
