For a limited time, Allergan, the makers of the prescription eyelash treatment Latisse, are offering a discount on prescription Latisse.
The discount is available to those who donate money to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The “Latisse Wishes Challenge” campaign is inspired by the tradition of blowing on an eyelash to make a wish.
The spokesperson for the campaign is Christina Hendricks from A&E’s Mad Men. Like many women, Hendricks suffers from sparse, short, thin lashes. Her doctor recommended Allergan’s Latisse treatment to treat her inadequate lashes.
The goal of the Latisse Wishes Challenge is to raise $500,000 for the Make-A-Wish foundation, so that a wish can be granted in every Make-A-Wish chapter in the United States.
David Pyott, who is the Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Allergan, Inc. says, “Women appreciate supporting a brand that gives back and that may also provide a solution for themselves. Through the LATISSE®Wishes Challenge, women will join Hendricks to support a wonderful cause and learn more about LATISSE® to see if it is right for them.”
How to Receive Your Latisse Discount
The minimum donation to take part in the challenge is $20. The first 10,000 donations will get a Latisse free trial certificate. If you invite two of your friends to contribute as well, you will get a $20 Latisse discount off your next purchase. To help support the foundation, Latisse will match donations up to $250,000 through November 20, 2011.
